Emergency Use on the Road: The FRED light was built to be a safe and effective replacement for dangerous road flares. Road flares are great for being seen, but pose a massive fire risk and are hard to extinguish after use. The FRED light remains cool to the touch and does not emit a flame that can start fires. FRED uses bright LED bulbs that have a life span of over 50,000 hours and are resistant to shock and are extremely bright. With 9 Flash modes and a 3 white LED worklight, FRED is as useful as it is versatile.
Emergency Use at Home: The FRED Light is not only for roadside use. Use FRED at home to identify your location so that first responders can easily find you; with a magnetic backing and a flush fitting hook, the FRED Light can be mounted or placed nearly anywhere. If you are in an emergency, seconds count. Placing a FRED Light on your house or curbside can make it easier for emergency personnel (Police, Fire, and Ambulance) to find your location.

IP55 Rated & Shatterproof: The FRED Light is IP55 (Ingress Protected) which means that it can withstand most dust from entering its case and it can with stand low pressure water jets. For regular users, that means that the FRED is built tough; dust and water do not affect the FRED Light and it floats too! Having a Polycarbonate case surrounded by a Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) wrap, the FRED Light is shatterproof and well armored for the bumps and bruises of life. The TPE armor aids in better visibility of FRED, and gives a non-slip grip.
The Important Stuff: FRED is equipped with 15 LEDs (12 Red, 3 White), has a full 360 degree visibility, can be seen up to a mile radius, and offers 9 Red LED Light modes with a 3 LED worklight mode too. A single On/Off/Mode button makes using the FRED simple without any complicated steps. Just press the button once to turn the FRED Light on and halfway depress the button to toggle between the 9 lighting modes. To turn the FRED Light off, just fully depress the button at any time. The 3 white LED worklight is perfect for up-close work and can help act as an under the hood light. With a shatterproof load capacity of up to 500kg, FRED is a tough light that almost anyone can use.
